Music reaches our soul" with Ashlee B.

Today (09/123, we had a conversation with Ashlee Bickley McCrory, the Development Associate & Teaching Artist at Heartland Sings, a voice faculty at Purdue University Fort Wayne, and a mother of two.


"Mezzo-soprano Ashlee Bickley performs and teaches various genres across the classical singing medium. Ashlee has appeared as a soloist across the United States and Europe.

An avid recitalist and new music advocate, Ashlee has performed on recital series at

several churches and schools. She holds vocal performance degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Florida State University and is on faculty at the Purdue University School of Music in Fort Wayne.

Ashlee joined the Heartland Sings family in 2012 as a Vocal Artist and has spent several of the past few years as a Development Associate with a concentration on grant writing. Her education at the Eastman School of Music included a certificate in Arts Leadership, added once Ashlee realized she was developing a passion for music administration." (Bickley, A., 2023)

Christie Browning

Christie is a five-time HSPA award-winning writer with a long resume of creative, compelling writing. Her background includes journalism and marketing, which allows her to bring a specialized voice to the pieces created for her clients. On her own, Christie has written for newspapers, online magazines and major publications. For her clients, Christie produces web designs, press and media releases, blog articles, downloadable worksheets and flyers as well as social media content. Her long-time career as an entrepreneur gives her unique insight into what her clients need to promote their products, services and messages.
