Canto de Corazón Community Concert
The Canto de Corazón community choir began in September, 2023, and performed a well-received concert of Christmas music in December. This semester, the choir has doubled in number of singers, and you have two opportunities to hear them this spring!
On Sunday, April 28, they will perform a free community concert at 4:00pm as part of the music series at Plymouth Congregational Church in downtown Fort Wayne. Food will be provided after the concert by Pikoso Burrito Co. and La Pupuseria.
On Saturday, May 4, the choir will perform as part of the Cinco de Mayo celebration at the Renaissance Pointe YMCA, 2323 Bowser Avenue.
The diverse repertoire is composed of lively, rhythmic, thought-provoking folk and traditional music from Ecuador, Bolivia, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and other countries. All music is sung in Spanish. We hope you will come to enjoy and support this growing Heartland Sings initiative.

Este semestre de Primavera, el coro ha doblado el número de participantes y usted tiene dos oportunidades de escucharlos en la Primavera! Domingo, abril 28, Canto de Corazón ofrecerá un concierto gratis a las 4:00pm. como parte de la music series en Plymouth Congregational Church in downtown Fort Wayne. El sábado 4 de Mayo a las 2p.m.ofrecerá como parte de la celebración de Cinco de Mayo en el Renaissance Pointe YMCA en 2323 Bowser Avenue con Folklore de Mi Tierra, and Amaneceres de México, grupos de danza y cuisine de El Salvador. El repertorio de primavera está compuesto de ritmos encantadores, reflexivos y música tradicional de Ecuador, México, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Chile, Cuba y otros países. Toda la música se canta en español. Esperamos que venga a disfrutar y apoyar esta creciente iniciativa de Heartland Sings. Vocal Artists Competition
Heartland Sings’ Vocal Arts Institute presents A Vocal Artists Competition featuring 12 finalists from around the world. Finalists compete for three cash prizes, with the winners being announced during Heartland Sings’ production of A Night At The Opera.
